Children’s Services Branch takes a team support approach with a Clinician, Peer Support Specialist and a Parent Partner to address the mental health needs of Transitional Age Youth (TAY) clients that are 15-24 years old and may be experiencing serious mental illness for the first time (first break), or are experiencing prodromal signs of serious mental illness, or having some significant psychotic symptoms which have not been accessed or treated adequately.
